Why are corrections to pupil religion and ethnicity not showing?

If you make corrections to pupil religion and ethnicity data that should be reflected in the census, you must ensure that the changes are made with an effective start date on or before the census reference date (16th January in Wales, 18th January in England). After making corrections you must ensure that you press ‘save’ and ‘create and validate’ for the changes to appear in the reports. To change the start date, go to the ethnic and cultural panel for the affected pupils and follow these steps:

1. Click on the History button in the bottom right corner of the panel

2. Double-click on Religion

3. Double-click on the orange bar, next to the pupil's religion

4. change the start date to a date on or before the census reference date

After making corrections you must ensure that you press ‘create and validate’ for the changes to appear in the reports.
